This person will join a team of eCommerce professionals focused on building a world-class customer experience for Precious Metals investors. The successful eCommerce Operations Manager will combine an understanding of what drives eCommerce sales with a passion for user experience to improve APMEX’s onsite merchandising strategy. He/she will drive improvements to the APMEX site experience in different categories through the development and execution of strategic cross-functional projects, working with IT, Product Management, Creative Services, Brand and Marketing.
The ideal candidate is fast-paced, enthusiastic and customer-focused with great judgment and creative problem-solving skills. He/she has demonstrated skill with technical tools & processes through website management, digital marketing, Google Analytics, data analysis or other similar experience. He/she is passionate about customer behavior and about the eCommerce shopping experience. He/she is extremely organized and comfortable moving quickly while managing multiple cross-functional projects at once. He/she is a skilled personnel manager able to provide strong direction, remove roadblocks and coach employees to success. He/she must be able to work at both a strategic level (generating innovative ideas for growth) and at a tactical level (executing updates, analyzing site and customer data, and solving problems).
