About The Role

The UX Web Designer will support digital marketing initiatives by building HTML prototypes and mock ups while supporting the A/B testing tool. The UX Web Designer will create instinctive designs for a friendly user experience.


A Day in the life of a UX Web Designer:


  • Demonstrates UX design skills with expert knowledge of current design programs, prototyping software, and usability platforms
  • Awareness of modern visual design and UX best practices
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of how to create UX assets: wireframes, designs and HTML mockups
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop and other relevant design tools for high fidelity prototypes
  • Strong working knowledge of web analytics data as it pertains to user experience, click path flows, click heatmaps, scroll depth, and UI design
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and popular frameworks (Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation)
  • Ability and experience identifying points of friction in the user experience and creating testable ideas to alleviate them
  • Experience with A/B testing and platforms like Optimizely, Visual Website Optimizer (VWO), or Convert
  • Proven history (with a portfolio) of designing highly effective user experiences on the web
  • Working knowledge of client side Javascript/JQUERY. Strong experience is a plus




Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree required.  Additional study in UX, HF, Usability, and Psychology preferred



  • 3-5 years of experience focusing on user‐centered design
  • Great wire-framing and prototyping skills
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML 5, CSS, and  JavaScript
  • Experience conducting and analyzing usability and design research
  • Passion for what you do, staying on top of current trends and developments
  • Excellent command of user experience methods, design principles, problem-framing skills, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment and have the ability to work within a style that focuses on the iterative process of design and implementation.
  • The ability to clearly articulate your ideas to team members and stakeholders
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proven ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ecommerce experience a plus
  • Familiar with conversion rate optimization methodologies and best practices a plus
