    About The Role

     

    The Conversion Rate Optimization Analyst is responsible for optimizing online sales performance through the design and development of tactics in increase web conversion rate. This individual will be involved in ongoing site performance reporting, analysis, and recommendations for improving customer experience and conversion on the website via testing, optimization and measurement.  This is a key role in helping the Marketing Department improve data-driven decision making and drive results in accordance with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) as may be updated and adjusted from time to time.

     

    A Day in the life of a Conversion Rate Optimization Analyst:

     

    • Perform in-depth analysis of web traffic behaviors to provide recommendations for improving online experience and growing online sales
    • Develop, execute, and analyze testing routines for key website experiences
    • Develop appropriate set of Key Performance Indicators necessary to measure marketing campaign and site performance activity and manage the production and distribution of dashboards and reports to functional leaders
    • Partner directly with digital marketing teams to proactively generate insights leading to website optimization for paid media channels

    **MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S.**

    Qualifications

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Quantitative Marketing, Computer Science, or other related field of study) required

    Experience:

    • Experience in web analytics preferred
    • Experience in an e-commerce setting and with multiple digital marketing channels preferred
    • Experience in setting up and evaluating A/B and multivariate tests preferred

     

    Computer Skills:

    • Experience with Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, Webrends, CoreMetrics, etc.
    • Familiarity with website testing and optimization tools such as Optimizely, Monetate, Optimize, etc.
    • Experience with order attribution analysis tools
    • Familiarity with website personalization and recommendations software tools
    • Expert knowledge of MS Excel (particularly with the use of pivot tables, lookups, functions, charts and tables) and PowerPoint, for creating impactful presentations
    • Prefer SQL, R, or Python skills
    • Prefer strong knowledge of computer systems
    • Exposure to HTML and CSS is a plus
