    About The Role

     

    The PM Ops Specialist will be directly responsible for assisting the Numismatic Team and the Product Managers in their daily operations.  This position provides numismatic and product management services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies; monitoring administrative projects and preparing reports for product management. The PM Ops staff will be called upon to accomplish a wide variety of tasks preparing the inventory for processing through the system and listing on the website. 

     

    A Day in the Life of a PM Ops Specialist:

     

    • Documenting the type and quantity of product(s) being submitted to our third party grading services – PCGS, NGC, or CAC, track that delivery has occurred, and keep the Numismatic Team and the product manager informed on status of grading and expected return of product
    • When products are received back from grading services, specialist will check submissions back in to ensure entire quantity sent has been received back or note partial shipment and delivering them to the appropriate product manager that handles that particular product
    • Track inventory quantities and make adjustments as requested by the Numismatic team or the Product Managers
    • Review and relist order cancellations into product inventory system of El Dorado
    • Organize and track drop shipments of large quantity of product from Mints directly to third party grading services
    • Track inventory purchased from retail customers, coin shows and coin dealers to delivery and confirm correct product and quantity were received and then list into El Dorado
    • Perform requested maintenance of the products and categories in El Dorado
    • Maintain adequate stock of supplies needed by Product Managers for daily work by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies due to seasonal business flows; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies
    • Assist product manager with special packaging and building sets of numismatic products
    • Resolve administrative problems by analyzing information; identifying and communicating solutions
    • Maintain rapport with customers, managers, and employees by arranging continuing contacts; setting priorities on tasks assigned; and resolve scheduling conflicts of project priorities with Product Managers and the numismatic team
    • Maintain continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; discovering irregularities and determining continuing needs of department
    • Accomplish department and organization goals and mission by completing related results as needed

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred

     

    Experience:

    • Knowledge of US and World coins preferred

     

    Computer Skills:

    • Basic knowledge and prior use of Microsoft Office Suite products


    Other Requirements:

    • Skills in process improvement, support innovation, and administrative writing skills
